About Siip Coffee

Siip Coffee is a specialty coffee discovery platform that combines a free mobile app with a personalized subscription service. The app indexes 30,000+ specialty coffees from 3,000+ roasters worldwide, letting users scan any coffee bag, in any country and language, to see farm-level origin details, flavor profiles, and a personalized match percentage.

The subscription (currently US only) sends two 12oz bags of specialty coffee per month, matched by a real-time learning algorithm that improves with every coffee the user rates. Unlike traditional coffee subscriptions that match users once via a quiz, Siip's system updates instantly with each rating and learns from every coffee the user drinks, including coffees from cafés, grocery stores, and travel.

Siip is an official Cup of Excellence partner and works with founding roasters including Stumptown, Intelligentsia, La Cabra, Counter Culture, Onyx Coffee Lab, Verve, George Howell, Sey Coffee, Proud Mary, and Blue Bottle Coffee.

Nick Spilger, CEO & Founder. Over 20 years in coffee, from picking cherries on a Costa Rican farm as a teenager to building coffee data systems at Enveritas. Founded Beantock (coffee farmer market access), served as Head of Product at Enveritas (coffee supply chain data and sustainability), then founded Siip to solve the consumer side of coffee's data problem.
